After concreting the plinth beam soil filling is an important act. We have to make sure that soil consolidation is done properly with the help of water as when we fill the soil, gaps between the soil particles are not filled properly which creates a gap. After some time soil may go down and might create a problem. So the best practice is performing soli consolidation just after filling the soil followed by soil compaction and PCC.
