Column Position marking - Best practice

 Column position marking need to be done before raising the columns. It is considered as best practice in civil engineering. 

Below are some of the advantages marking the column position

• Possibility of putting columns at exact location is high.
• It is easy to put the column rods at right place in one go itself. Movement of columns rods are tough due to its weight. Also moving column rods frequently will make it loose which is not good.
• It gives idea whether column is going to be placed at center or not. If not in center there is scope for correction well in advance.
