Key Aspects of Plinth Beam Preparation:
Purpose: It acts as a retaining wall and evenly transfers load from the superstructure to the foundation.
Dimensions: its depends upon the size, load and area of the building. Done based on the structure need.
Steel Reinforcement: Typically involves, for example, 2 Y12 or Y16 bars (top), this is just the minimum requirements but need to be based on structural plan.
Concrete & Curing: Use M20 or M25 grade concrete for durability. Proper curing is required for at least 7 days, and formwork should be removed after 24 hours.
