Surface Preparation
- Check stability: Tap the mosaic floor or wall to find any hollow or loose tiles; repair or remove them.
- Deep clean: Wash away all grease, soap scum, and dirt using a strong cleaner, then let it dry completely.
- Roughen the surface: Lightly sand or etch glossy mosaic tiles and score old grout lines so the new adhesive can grip tightly.
- Apply primer: Roll on a specialized tile primer or bonding agent.
